The Northern District of California is comprised of four divisional offices: Santa Rosa, San Francisco, Oakland, and San Jose. The Santa Rosa division is comprised of the following counties : Del Norte, Humboldt, Mendocino, Lake, Sonoma, Napa, Marin. The San Francisco division is comprised of the following counties: San Francisco and San Mateo. The Oakland division is comprised of the following counties: Contra Costa, and Alameda. The San Jose division is comprised of the following counties: Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, San Benito and Monterey.
The Eastern District of California is comprised of three divisional offices: Sacramento, Modesto and Fresno. The Sacramento division is comprised of the following counties: Siskiyou, Modoc, Trinity, Shasta, Lassen, Tehama, Plumas, Glenn, Butte, Sierra, Colusa, Sutter, Yuba, Nevada, Placer, Yolo, El Dorado, Sacramento, Solano, San Joaquin, Amador and Alpine. The Modesto division is comprised of the following counties: Calaveras, Stanislaus and Tuolumne. The Fresno division is comprised of the following counties: Merced, Mariposa, Mono, Fresno, Madera, Kings, Tulare, Inyo and Kern.
